Everyday its still the same ol same ol, still got a 9 to 5 so I don’t look like an a-hole,
I mean a bum, with my hair all greasy, ripped clothes and starving living under a bridge see,
I’m kinda blessed yes, i gotta admit but i need some extra cheddar, set my mind at ease and,
I got dreams, see them off in the distance, my quick stance is reach, but my arms don’t get past, everyday worries like my rent ain’t paid, or my, paycheck is late, need to fill up the fridge and, or,

I’m tryna pretend, that all means to money making justifying the ending,
Um, sometimes I’m feeling like I’m wasting my time,
‘cos in the end this paper chasing is a merry go round…
