Hakym The Dream
Not too much is known about this singer/ songwriter/ producer/ artist, but he has steadily been making waves in the Nigerian music scene, already having a performance slot at the upcoming #jeansforgeans event on March 27th, 2010 (www.thesegenes.blogspot.com), alongside a number of other prominent artists. In addition to this, he was also nominated “Best New Artist” at the Channel O Awards in 2009.
This year, he has a number of projects underway and has offered two singles “Dey Dere” and “Tall Light Chic”, a cover on M.I.’s “Short Black Guy”, and videos for “Dey Dere” and “Formula” featuring WizKid coming out soon.
Hakym definitely has a lot of talent and should be watched closely this year.
